Hayti police reports

Apr. 11 - At 8:54 p.m. officers located and arrested Derrick D. Luster, 18, of Hayti on an outstanding Caruthersville warrant for failure to appear on property damage. Luster was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond of $132.50.

Apr. 15 - At approximately 6:20 p.m. officers were investigating thefts of lawn mowers and after investigating several leads officers were able to identify a suspect and locate. A 34 year old male of Hayti is being held in the Justice Center, pending formal charges being filed.

Apr. 15 - At approximately 6:30 p.m. officers were notified of an assault that had just occurred near the 300 Block of East Lincoln. After furthering their investigation, officers arrested Callie Johnson, 23, of Hayti, for assault. Johnson was transported to the police department where she was later released on a summons to appear in municipal court.

Apr. 15 - At approximately 9:40 p.m. officers were approached by a female subject at the police department in reference to an assault. Officers were searching for the 50 year old male subject then later learned the subject was arrested by Caruthersville officers involving a separate incident. The male is being held in the Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges by the prosecuting attorney.

Apr. 15 - With the assistance of Caruthersville officers, Jai Hunt, 21, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Hunt was arrested on the original charges of failure to appear for exceeding posted speed limit through municipal court. Hunt was transported to the Justice Center and released on a $83 bond.

Apr. 16 - A warrant for Shelby L. Brantley II, 34, was issued. Brantley is being charged with felony E stealing 4th or subsequent offense. He has a bond of $5,000 cash or surety.
